Just bought a VPS and trying to learn here and there. What Fediverse instance are you going to recommend for a small machine (1GB and 1-core)? It would only be used by me.

@mardijker Just checked my (single user) Mastodon instance. CPU would not be an issue, but unfortunately it wouldn't fit in your memory.
Pleroma might be an alternative (https://blog.soykaf.com/post/what-is-pleroma/), but I haven't tried it.
